Having just left the dark waters of Scorpio, the Sun (soul) now illuminates and shines its light on what we believe about our world and the larger stories we take part in. The Sun becomes hopeful and happy in Sagittarius, where the energy begins to illuminate, to uproot the lies that we’ve internalized from the inevitable emotional blows of life. It is important to exercise daily thankfulness, a quality of Jupiter, in order to raise your energy and make use of the preexisting energetic backdrop for this month.
Nov. 21 – Dec. 4: Illuminating and uprooting the lies or falsities of life in order to make room for something greater to grow will be needed.
Dec. 4 – 17: Developing beliefs fueled by love, not extremism/dogma, and nourished through positive emotion: love, beauty and devotion. The beliefs and stories we nourish about ourselves and the world around us will manifest over and over again.
Every battle is won or lost before it is ever fought – Sun Tzu
Dec. 17 – 21: Fire becomes earth. Changeable fire moves into cardinal, action-oriented earth. This will be a time when we take our dreams, hopes, ideals and larger vision for the future and commit ourselves to really building it, taking the right action in a disciplined way — over and over again.
The angles or the axis of action for the month, is mutable – not moving forward but also not stuck in place. It’s both. The Signs Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo and Pisces will be affected by this month’s energies more than other signs. Nothing really sticks. It’s time to take what was done and edit it, work on it and publish it. After that is done, you can push toward a practical profit.
Sun will Square Neptune
This is a huge point of diffusion and disintegration of self. Be careful of the stories you tell yourself about your life, victimhood, self-sacrifice and martyrdom. It can be a time of feeling lost in the dreams woven by larger forces. Get rid of the implants. Neptune may introduce a new way for us to express our firmly-held beliefs to the world in a more compassionate way.
Sun will Conjunct South Node Ketu: Awareness of what is lost
Let go of the need for rigid control and listen to the intuitive psychic flow of the higher universal energies (Neptune). It’s like moving from one spot to another blindfolded. This is akin to a challenge in faith and in identity. Ketu strips away at the strong grounded ego of the Sun. In the 1980s film, Indiana Jones: Crusaders of the Lost Ark, the main character, Indiana Jones, has to take a step of faith across an invisible pathway and pass certain number of challenges that frustrate his ego and confuse his senses in order to be deemed worthy of the reward. It will feel like we are seeing what we’ve lost and what has been taken. Symbolically, the Sun in Sagittarius illuminates a headless body in the form of a Centaur.
Uranus in 6th house from Sun: Unpredictable New Assets
Uranus retrograde in Taurus in the 6th house of obstacles, disease and work means that this month will involve a change in how we make our day-to-day material upkeep is done.
Last month centered more on finding a balance with new and unpredictable ways of engaging in relationships with the parts of life that are unseen, mysterious or in some way shared with others (7th house aspect). This month will involve trouble-shooting new ways of making money or owning assets.
Nov. 29th – Sun Will Trine Mars: New-Found Energy to Take Action Toward our Dreams
Fire rises and spreads. Once it catches onto something, it can be hard to stop it. Two masculine dominant planetary energies find harmony with one another in their respective constellations. Both Mars and Sun are friends: the general and the king. Dec. 2nd will mark a time when we have more inspiration to act creatively on building a grandiose story for our lives. It’s a time of confidently using logic and strong idealism to act intelligently on what is necessary to make one’s passions an integrated part of economic reality.
Dec. 14: Sun Conjuncts with Moon & Mercury in Sagittarius
During this benefic/neutral conjunction in Sagittarius, Venus in the 12th sign, its drowning point (29 degrees of Scorpio), showing us that we are going deeper into spiritual engagement with the mysterious and the unknown — or that we are escaping our life’s pressures through pleasurable pursuits, hidden from the view of others.
The north node/Rahu’s lord (Mercury) is situated in body of this New Moon cycle: This is a karmic point of returning to a prior phase of life in order to garner information from it and use it to create. This is where we use information to organize how our beliefs fit into the new world that is coming and what copes will have to be made.
This Sagittarius conjunction makes the Jupiter, Saturn & Pluto Capricorn conjunction beneficial, not malefic. These planets become temporary friends or “assets” to the monthly energies, as it were. It is a time to use the qualities of these planets to do the real-world building towards a new optimistic vision of the future. Sagittarius draws up a map and an idea but Capricorn puts it into tangible action, step by step, brick by brick.
The larger political and social institutions will not save you. You must save yourself. Utilize your imagination, visualize and affirm what you want in life. Start by ignoring the dark truths of reality and the corruption that is painfully evident. In order to defeat it, one must focus on the light and the hopes for the good. This will draw more of the good into your experience.
