South Node, Sun, Moon and Mercury all conjoin in the middle of Sagittarius.
This new moon cycle involves a lot of harsh energy for the collective. Most of the transiting planets are in masculine “violent” signs — which means that now is the time to take actions that are “hard” or “tiresome” to us. We have the inspired fiery energy to push for expanding the purpose in our daily lives.
All inner-planets are transiting in the later degrees of the signs. This is a time when we are fully entrenched in our environment and our world, not beginning or starting something new or This is a finishing of karmas.
Capricorn late degrees: Our structure and security
Scorpio late degree: Our passions and commitment to facing raw emotional truths
Aries late degree: Our pioneer spirit to improve change and impact this world
Neptune is square to the new moon!
This shows that we are way out of line with what we are believing about our reality and what we preach to others. Neptune loves to confuse and dissolve things in the material, taking the concrete into the abstract and nonsensical. It’s a lot like Alice being whisked away into Wonderland, encountering the chaotic but spiritually significant experiences of an alien world.
Neptune in 4th house from New Moon: Breaking Through Heart’s Delusions
Neptune is in the 10th sign from the North Node: Religion Vs Spirituality
10th house from any sign shows the karma of that sign, the actions and developments to be had. Neptune is a planet of releasing one’s hold to the physical and melding with the immaterial.
Mars is in a harsh unyielding sign. This is where we set strong boundaries and put our energy towards burdening the things we started in the past. Mars is showing a lot of anger towards leaders, authorities and structures in society. It shows a lot of violent power struggles between the individual and the larger traditional social institutions. It shows fighting to break and cut apart the financial institutions.
This Mars is even more passionate, inflamed and impulsive now because, not only is it in Aries, it is in the 11th house from the north node, our collective desire. The 11th house from the north node is all about how we make gains or strive towards accumulation on our path.
Venus in Scorpio, the sign of transformation and secrecy, and in the 12th sign of losses from the new moon’s transit point is showing us how we have to establish emotional strength and let go of our unhealthy habits or relationships.
Mercury & Moon Combust:
Thinking isn’t clear, cannot manage our lives without a lot of sacrifice.
New Moon in 9th house from Mars: Passion and Power to Create Emotional Purpose, Belief Around our Actions or Judgements.
Mars Trine Mercury:
We have a lot of inspired energy to tell other people just what they are and how we feel.
Mars is in his own sign in the 5th house from the new moon. This is where we have tremendous energy to improve on our creative efforts and find ways to expand the meaning around what we “do” in our lives.
Sagittarius gives us a lot of inspiration and passion to “get out there” and explore life, expand our horizons and share something “big” with the world. When Jupiter, it’s land lord, is doing well, Sagittarius takes that burning zealous energy to share truth with others and does it for the benefit of humanity, caring, nourishing and supporting other people. But when Jupiter is feeling pressured…oh boy — talk about a person who will prosthelytize vehemently. It creates extremists that won’t listen or care about alternative view points. Does this sound familiar?
Well, guess what? Jupiter is still in his fall and is being swallowed by the great malefic Saturn, all at a critical degree. This shows that we have to show discretion and practicality with what beliefs and spiritual practices we nourish. We also have to be cautious about what narratives and stories we choose to believe. We are still being lied to and programmed. Sagittarius is representative of the beliefs we nourish and maintain. Are we indiscriminately making weeds grow or aromatic flowers?
Both of these planets are about to enter Aquarius. Their energies are still grounded, cautious, anxious and materialistic in Capricorn. Jupiter wants to see the big picture and give us hope. But in Capricorn, it only wants to expand on status, position and materialism. The exact antithesis of the spiritually-oriented nature of Jupiter.
We must recognize the practicality and stability that lies between pulling together resources and allies to help us revolutionize or change the things wrong with society.
There is a stronger energy moving towards changing society or starting a revolution based on pure idealistic fanaticism. A lot of this is based on misinformation or fantasy. Neptune is still squaring these planets, taking us out of the realm of reality and into illusion.
When I write these blogs, I often write them months in advance. I’m not sure what’s happening in December of 2020, since I am, at this very moment, writing this out in May. But I am going to make some guesses here. Given the predictability of humanity, I’m sure that my statements won’t be too far off the mark.
We may see some very extreme figures rising up in the political realm to rally people together for a utopia or perfect vision for the future (Neptune). It will lead to more bondage and less freedom. We must secure a new world for ourselves. We can use our imagination to create certain things in life, without a doubt. Make your vision and desire clear.
Time to do…what?
Now is a good time for us to figure out what we are devoted to in life. This is a time for ritual and worship (ceremonial magick) that can help free us from certain bonds.
