From August 16th till September 9th, just three short weeks, Venus flies through its home sign of Libra, which signifies: balance, harmony, relationships and objective judgement. Venus feels comfortable in the refined, objective and intellectually curious sign of Libra. While transiting through Leo, Venus was a bit too self-motivated and self-aggrandizing — but while in Virgo, it was too nit-picky and critical. Now, having entered Libra, Venus brings about a time of peace and harmony with one’s self and other people.

Relationships go through a stress test here to see what is at their core. Is it substance, or is it fluff? Pluto aspects destroy and rebuild things in order to grow stronger and better. This aspect lasts up until the final degree of Libra, where things get pretty serious and deep in terms of relationships.

During this time, people should try to overcome deeply suppressed or hidden issues within their psyche through partnering with others. Pluto hitting Venus in a square demands a drastic and extreme change with how one relates to others and how one indulges in life’s pleasures. Certainly, relationships will feel like all or nothing, black or white, like two extremes pressuring one another. Pluto brings transformation to Venus.

Venus Opposite Chiron – Aug. 19th

We become aware of what needs to integrate and heal within our identity or self through our relationships. Oppositions make us hyper aware of the self and other. It’s the same with the planetary bodies. We awaken to where life hurts (Chiron), namely our identity, and where exactly life feels enjoyable (Venus), relating, sharing and compromising with other people. This is where healing occurs.

Venus Trine N. Node, Saturn & Moon – Aug. 20th

There is a feeling of destiny and a pull towards unusual or ‘out-there’ connections with others. The Nodes pull us into either the familiar or, in this case, the unknown. We may feel incensed to strike out on something new and inventive, due to having new information (Gemini), Venus is a friend to the North Node and Saturn.

Venus inconjunct Uranus – Aug. 26th – 29th

We come to terms with our mixed feelings of whether or not we are investing in the right people or things in life. Our choice boils down to weighing out what we value the most. By September 1st, the inconjunction with Neptune gives us a time for figuring out what fantasies or delusions we have in relationships.
