What is the Third Eye Chakra?
It is the sixth energy center of the body, just before the crown (the top of the head) and after the throat center. It is connected to the brain and is the operating center, where you make healthy (or unhealthy) decisions about day-to-day issues in your life.

If the Third Eye is Disturbed, Other Chakras are Too
Because chakras feed into one another, if one gets blocked, the others will suffer. A disturbed third eye will affect the throat chakra (Vishuddhi) and lead to changes in your speech, perhaps harsher or more aggressive forms of speech, or perhaps you do not speak up enough.
A shut-down third eye can impact the crown chakra. You’ll feel more disconnected from the world, from meaning, purpose, divinity, and all the rest of it. This also leads to obsessive levels of materialism, exacerbated “ego problems,” and various other psychological conditions (depression and anxiety included).
With all that being said, a blocked third-eye chakra is NOT fun!
Why Spirits Enter Through the Third Eye
Generally speaking, imbalances in the Third Eye Chakra can render one vulnerable to spiritual interference from astral entities. This is especially the case when you wake up right after sleeping (traveling through the astral plane).
These “astral entities” seek to divert you from your life path and negatively influence your thought patterns. Because they have no physical body in which to take action, they constantly seek appropriate vessels or conduits which they can operate through.
Are you extremely pessimistic? Negative? Critical? Judgmental? Depressed? Unable to finish tasks or concentrate on ANYTHING?
In some extreme cases when there is no intervention whatsoever, an energetic disturbance in the third eye chakra can cause blindness, near sightedness, or blurred vision.
The easiest way to reaffirm and rebalance this chakra ASAP:
- Put moderately firm pressure between your two eyebrows using your thumb or fingers until a soothing feeling occurs
- Breathe into this space and calmly relax any tension that has accumulated
- Close your eyes and visualize the darkness leaving this energy center and white light coming into it
- Speak to your subconscious and say, “let my mind be free and clear.” Say anything affirming that you can concentrate and focus your mind.
Consistent Spiritual Practice is Essential for Third Eye Health
Clearing your chakras through prayer, meditation, and occasional fasting brings tremendous results.
Some people became possessed or heavily influenced at a young age and have never known a life outside of it. Imagine someone who got hooked on drugs early and has never had a day without using. This can sometimes be the case for people with their energy system infiltrated by other beings.
