Days after the dramatic shooting of a healthcare insurance CEO on December 4, 2024, I began pondering certain ideas.
Here are a few:
TRUTH doesn’t matter
More knowledge equals more suffering
MOST people just don’t care; you shouldn’t either
Violence won’t change structural, institutionalized corruption
The fire signs are about passion, zeal, and excitement for life. During transits, this energy is expressed by an overzealous need to “correct” the world around us.
Granted, most people are enthusiastically preparing for Christmas with their family and not staging some sort of politically-motivated assassination, but I digress.

This incident occurred during the Sagittarius season, a sign of ideology, strong beliefs, blunt truth-telling, and adventure.
Mercury was retrograding in a tight orb conjunct with the Sun. This conjunction causes misguided thinking, as the intellect becomes “fried” from the heat.

Yes. People suffer at the hands of healthcare insurance companies.
But so many people, when pressed about it, don’t seem to care about these broad, systemic issues. Half the time, they don’t know anything about what’s happening – NOTHING!
The average person isn’t someone who you should sacrifice for or fight on behalf of.

Whoops. All gone. All sacrificed for an ideology.
The shooter ruined his life — and for what?
For nothing.
Ultimately, his violent action changed nothing. A revolution did not spark. People did not “rise up” under a “class consciousness.” Zip. Nada.
There was (I promise you) no larger trend set in the wake of this incident. Most people will continue to go about their lives trying to desperately get through another day of living paycheck to paycheck.
His punishment may be even more severe than your average violent street criminal, simply because he killed a member of the superior class, the upper echelon of our society.
On a smaller scale, if you’re considering “self-sacrifice” in the name of some concept of a “greater good,” forget about it. Choose to live a better life instead.
The old saying holds true.
The best revenge is living well.
Coming to Terms with Societal Injustice and Evil
Things happen for a reason in this world. There are forces acting upon events in our world that we know nothing about.
The universal consciousness wishes for some of this to happen.
This is the gap between Sagittarius (our personal philosophies about how the world SHOULD be) and Pisces (the universal knowing that there is a larger play at work).
Even when witnessing terrible events like Boeing’s plane crashes, caused by the cost-cutting decisions of their former CEO, Dennis Muilenburg, one has to accept the reality of it.
After acceptance, you can start to LIVE a better life for YOU – not for society or the world.
Choose Happiness and Fun in the Face of the World’s Facts
Focus on the positive. You only have control over your mind and emotions.
You cannot control the circumstances of life, be it inflation, war, destructive public policy, or whatever else that comes your way.
Treat it like a joke. Laugh it off and move on.
For whatever reason, God wanted to create a world filled with animals that eat each other and a civilization filled with ailing surfs and billionaire royalty.
Perhaps it’s for the purpose of enjoying the “drama” of this physical incarnation.
