September 20th gives us a full moon in Pisces — here we go again. It seems that is the theme of this year, as we’ve been doubling up on new moon transits for many months. It’s the same lesson as before: finding balance between escaping through leisure and managing responsibilities.
Ask yourself what dreams you want to materialize and what “little things,” baby steps, you can do every day to help actualize them.

The full moon in the final degrees of Pisces, changing/mutable water, asks us to let go and relax into the spiritual, not the dense material.
These last degrees symbolize, in a sense, finality, an emotional release or resignation from the world, that which occurs before reincarnating and reinitiating the core energies of the individualized self (Aries), and therefore repeating the entire zodiacal cycle.
Emotionally, we might be distant or far removed. Certainly, we’re not seeing things clearly. Don’t take large life-altering actions at this time. Wait it out. Set an intention of what dreams you want to manifest while the lunar energies are at their peak, before the waning cycle begins.
Sun and Mars Conjunct – Opposite Moon and Neptune (R)
The vision, passion and vitality to practically exert one’s will upon the world and to manage all of the details in life, come into a polarizing dichotomy between our need to escape from the world, to dream or to get wrapped up in fantasies and ideals.
There is a bit of bitter-sweet discomfort with regards to how we exert our energy in relationships and how we communicate with one another. Relating might seem a bit restrictive, since Venus and Saturn are both square to one another in fixed signs (feelings of being stuck).
People may seem to be far too lost in their own psychologies to properly engage in building community with others. Venus is in detriment.
Full Moon’s Lord is Jupiter
With the Moon’s lord being in retrograde (both of them), there is a sense of nostalgia or going back into what dreams or wishes for a better life we may have had, but gave up on. Go back and re-examine what these hopes are.
Why do you want what you want? What can you do, practically speaking, to obtain it or something similar?
This is a time of going within and engaging in meditation. Pisces is about emotionally clearing things out. Listen to music or remove yourself from becoming too engaged in the world. This is a time of retiring and retreating into your own world for a brief while.
The Sun will soon enter into Libra, a sign where we seek to find compromise with others and be on the receiving end of previous karmic activity. Virgo prepares us for this by getting our house in order. pisces allows us to emotionally let go of built up negativity through the long-haul journey through the zodiac. It’s the final stop on the outskirts of town.
